Quinn Estates were invited by Swale Borough Council to partner it with Development Securities, Cathedral Group and Essential Land in the £110m regeneration of Sittingbourne Town Centre.
Within 6 months of our involvement we had a planning application submitted for a scheme of 215 apartments, a 7 screen cinema, 7 restaurants, a multi storey car park, big box retail space and a new public realm alongside significant highways improvements. With viability a key consideration in progressing the project, we have achieved an off plan sale of the 215 apartments to a private rented sector provider and a deal to a multinational chain of cinemas. This is a project that will create nearly 800 construction and long term jobs and deliver over £8m a year into the local economy.
