Quinn Estates Sponsors Chilham Tennis Club For Fifth Year
Kent-based mixed-use developer Quinn Estates is continuing its banner sponsorship arrangement with Chilham Tennis Club for a fifth year, as part of its commitment to securing the future of Kent’s sports facilities.
Situated in Branch Road, Chilham, the club has served the local community since it was formed in 1974. The club is run completely by volunteers and offers three hardcourts, two of which are floodlit, and a clubhouse.
All ages and abilities use the club, with coaching sessions from juniors upwards, led by club coach Danny Wynne, and sessions are provided to Chilham Primary School. The club also has ladies’, mixed and two men’s teams competing in local Kent Leagues, involving competitive matches with visiting clubs from across the county
Quinn Estates’ 2024 club sponsorship marks its fifth successive year of supporting the club and is part of the company’s culture of commitment to supporting and enhancing community facilities across the region.
Recent years have seen major improvements at Chilham Tennis Club, including the construction of the third court and clubhouse, followed by the replacement of outdated halogen floodlights with new, brighter energy-efficient LED lighting.
Speaking for the Club, William Hinckley said: “As the Club is run entirely by volunteers, we cannot be more grateful to Quinn Estates for their commitment to Chilham Tennis Club.
“Quinn Estates’ banner sponsorship has enabled us to make improvements and our new and updated facilities continue to be well received and regularly in use, contributing to the health, wellbeing and happiness of so many local people. We are extremely grateful for the continued support of Quinn Estates, which we sincerely hope will continue in the years to come.”
Mark Quinn, CEO and Chairman of Quinn Estates, said “We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of Chilham Tennis Club, as part of our commitment to safeguarding local sport in Kent.
“We work tirelessly to create a legacy of community improvement, from the sports facilities we create, to the sponsorship we donate. We’re pleased to be able to support local clubs like Chilham Tennis Club, who do such good work in the community to give people of all ages, abilities and background access to sports facilities. We understand the impact that our support makes and are delighted to work together with them.”
